코로나로 굳게 닫혔던 하늘길이 차츰 열리고 있습니다. 그동안 억눌렸던 해외여행.... 이미 다녀오셨거나 또는 준비중이신 분들도 계실텐데요, 부럽습니다! ㅎㅎ 해외여행에서 중요한 것중 하나는 아마도 '비용'이지 않을까 싶습니다.
항공비,숙소등 예상 비용이 얼마나 되는지 꼼꼼히 잘 알아봐야 할텐데요, '대충 여행경비가 얼마나 나올지 한번 알아볼게' 이렇게 말하고 싶을때 쓸 수 있는 영어표현중 하나가 바로 오늘 알아볼 figure out입니다.
개인적으로 이 표현은 업무에서도 유용하게 자주 쓰고 있어서 혹시 이 표현을 모르셨거나 대충은 알았지만 아직 내 입으로 자연스럽게 말해본적이 없다.....하시면 이번 기회에 꼭 자신의 것으로 만들어서 필요할때마다 요긴하게 잘 활용해보시기 바랍니다.
