 오늘은 저의 아침을 영어로 한번 표현해보려고 합니다. 언어라는게 실용적인게 중요하잖아요? 그래서 내 주변에서 자주 일어날만 한 일이라든지..또는 내가 자주 쓸만한 표현들 위주로 먼저 익히게 되면 효율성도 쑥~쑥~ 올라가고 또 배운 표현을 실제 대화에서 쓰게 되면 자신감도 늘어나고 재미도 느끼게 될거에요...그렇게 되면 영어학습에 가속도도 붙도 또 지속적으로 학습할 수 있도록 끌어주는 중요한 역할을 하기도 하는것 같아요. 적어도 저는 그랬답니다 ^^;

I woke up at 04:30 this morning. One of my new year's resolutions is to keep healthy so I've decided to go to sleep early and get up at 04:30 to make the most of time for my own early in the morning. I messed around with my mobile phone for a while on the bed and then I finally got up and made the bed.

New Year's resolution : a promise that you make to yourself to start doing something good or stop doing something bad on the first day of the year (새해결심)

Make the most of : to use or enjoy as much as possible. to use to the best advantage

Mess around : to spend time lazily, doing things slowly and in a way that's not planned

Make the bed : when you make the bed, you neatly arrange the sheets and covers of the bed so that it's ready to sleep in (이불을 개다)

I started writing a blog post on "Daily English Expression" and after that I read an English book for 20minutes. Last year I realized that I needed to improve my vacabularies and I thought reading books can be an effective way to build my vocabulary . It's just been around 3 weeks since I did it and I've already found it very helpful and informative so I'm trying to incorporate it into my daily life. I read it louldy and record it so that I could check out my pronounciation.

At 05:45, I headed to the gym in the apartment. "Nike Training" helps me a lot to warm me up in the beginning. With the 30mins of the training, I ended up covered in sweat. Sweating makes me feel so good. After 30mins' workout, I started walking on a treadmill. I was repeating walk and run which is an interval training.

Incoprate ~ into daily life : 생활화하다
Head to : to go in a particular direction (~
warm up : to prepare yourself for a physical activity by doing some gentle exercises and stretches (몸을 풀어주다)
End up : to finally be in a particular place or situation

At 06:55 I got home and trimmed my beard, took a shower. After applying lotions and sun block on my my fae, I did my hair and got dressed

It came to mind that it's garbage and recycling collection day. We've run out of regulation garbage bags now so I just took out the recyclables, which is such a hassle. I was in a rush because it was already 07:40.  My boss is a stickler for being on time at work.

I take the subway to the office everyday and it takes me about 5minutes to the subway station from my place. When I got there, the train was pulling into the station. Fortunately I could get a seat.

Do/make one's hair : to arrange one's own or another person's hair in a particular style

Get dressed : to put your clothes on (옷을 입다)

It comes to mind: if something comes to mind, you think of it without making any effort
*** 유사표현 : It hits me/it occurs to me that 주어 + 동사....

Run out of : to finish, use or sell all of something so that there's none left (다 써버리다)

Regulation garbage bags

Take out the recyclables : 재활용품을 버리다

Hassle : Something that is annoying, because it causes problems or is difficult to do (귀찮은 일)

Stickler : A person who thinks that a particular type of behaviour is very important and always follows it or tries to
make other people follow it (엄격한 사람)

Take the subway to the office : 지하철로 출근하다
